Krios Associates is located in the heart of the Hudson Valley High Tech corridor in Poughkeepsie, New York. The Hudson Valley Region, encompassing approximately 150 miles in length along the Hudson River from New York City to the Capital in Albany, New York, is one of the fastest growing regions in New York State and is home to more than 100 Fortune 500 companies. These enterprises include companies in Microelectronics, Photovoltaics, Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals as well as many other OEMs and service providers to these industries. At the center of the regions Microelectronics industry is IBM with it's advanced 300mm chip factory and home to the IBM Technology Alliance.

The Technology Alliance consists of many of the premier microelectronics manufacturers in the world including GlobalFoundries, IBM, Infineon Technologies, Renesas Electronics, Samsung Electronics, STMicroelectronics and Toshiba. In addition, there is a robust supplier network of over 35 companies which support this effort including all of the major Semiconductor Equipment manufacturers as well many of the major electronic materials suppliers and other service providers. In addition to the concentration of High Tech enterprises, the Hudson Valley Region is home to more than 30 four year colleges and universities including the College of Nanoscale Science and Technology (CNSE) in Albany, New York, one of the most advanced research facilities in the world, with over 100 industry partners and home to International SEMATECH.
